Saltpeter Metals is an east coast, woman owned jewelry business built and run by Narcissa Segura. Saltpeter Metals was founded in 2013 in her home town of Phoenix, AZ. Segura graduated from Arizona State University with a B.F.A. in photography and a B.F.A in mixed media in 2008.

Narcissa currently resides in Providence, RI where she continues to make jewelry in an airy and plant filled studio. Segura is also a practicing herbalist with over a decade of experience. Segura’s work as an herbalist highly influences what she creates in the studio. Segura pulls inspiration from our relationship to ritual, celestial secrets and those unspoken connections that weave communities together. Much of her work celebrates the simplicity of lines and the natural pattern. Segura specializes in fine metals and rare lesser utilized stones and minerals. 

Segura is a motorcycle rider, a lover of all things old, broken and forgotten and can often be found traveling the country in a van she converted into a mobile studio/home for her and her pup Tulip.
